Just provide a summary, the project which it belongs to and an issue type. That is all – we have created our list with a first item. Lets start adding multiple issues and organize them in hierarchies of any depth.

The functionality in detail

From left to right:

The doted handle is used to move issues up and down. Sub- items are moved as well.

A hack indicates whether the issue is already resolved.

The Issue key followed by the issue’s summary is the reference to the Jira task.

When a row is selected a panel bar appears right to the issue’s summary. There are arrows to move the item one step up or down the list. The left right arrows move the item one hierarchical level deeper or higher. The plus symbol is used to create a new Jira issue, which will be added to the list automatically ether next to the selected or one level deeper in the tree. Use the next panel to remove an item from the list (this will not delete the Jira issue itself). The pencil opens the Jira issue’s edit form.

The progress bar, which shows the work done in Jira is followed by the Jira icons: Issue Type, Progress, Project Icon, Priority, Author and Assignee.

The inline menu provides the ability to forward the Jira issue via a transition.
